 Gashapon was my first go at curation of an independent exhibition in Kuala Lumpur, featuring the works of 60 Interior Design students. I worked alongside a team of senior students, and it was purely funded through private sponsorships. The event was very successful in getting graduates jobs while offering a more practical way to teach ‘Project Management’. The ‘Gashapon’ branding of the event helped provide this pioneer exhibition with a memorable identity relatable to the target audience.
